In the role of Water/Wastewater Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium multi-discipline projects or large, single-discipline water and wastewater projects
- Guide and direct junior staff in planning and design of project-specific elements
- Use previous work experience in treatment, collections, or pumping of water/wastewater to guide direction of projects
- Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development
- Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
- Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for project compliance and permitting
- Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
- Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
- Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
- Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree
- PMP certification
- Planning and design experience in any one or more categories: water treatment, wastewater treatment, pump stations and pipelines, conveyance, and distribution
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, and have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
Qualifications Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 years related experience
- A minimum 2 years project management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required (Access experience would be plus)
- Demonstrated leadership skills
