CPL?s UCLA site is a dynamic and growing organization with nearly 20 full-time employees, half a dozen graduate student researchers, and numerous faculty affiliates.

Our team works closely with policymakers and people with lived experience of homelessness to develop our research agenda, and we leverage unparalleled access to administrative microdata to help inform solutions to homelessness. CPL Research Managers are senior members of our research teams. They serve as project managers and relationship managers and are the day-to-day lead on CPL research projects. They work closely with government partners and academic research leads to keep projects moving forward. They are responsible for managing all aspects of our engagement, including developing and managing relationships with government partners; representing CPL at events and to external stakeholders; coordinating with data analysts; implementing rigorous research designs, including randomized control trials (RCTs) and quasi-experimental studies; drafting reports and presentations; drafting grant applications; and developing other policy-relevant deliverables. Working closely with CPL's leadership team, the Research Manager will be the day-to-day lead on a portfolio of CPL projects and will work closely with government partners and other stakeholders related to CPL's research. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in leading project teams and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, alongside an interest in developing expertise on policy issues related to CPL's research. We seek applicants who are confident translating research to a general audience, and who would be comfortable developing and carrying out joint research agendas with CPL partners.
