We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HVAC Inside Sales Assistant & Estimator to support our growing team near Corona, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least 2 years of experience in sales support, estimating, or project coordination—especially within the HVAC or construction industry.
The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and capable of assisting with both client-facing tasks and behind-the-scenes estimating work. This role has long-term potential to grow into a Sales Account Manager position.
The Inside Sales Assistant & Estimator will support the HVAC sales team with daily operations, customer communication, bid preparation, and project coordination. A large portion of the role also involves reviewing plans and generating accurate HVAC estimates for residential new construction projects. The ability to multitask, stay organized, and communicate effectively with internal and external teams is essential for success.
This position is based in-office, with occasional travel to job sites for walk-throughs or meetings as needed.
Sales Support:
Assist with managing customer accounts and internal coordination
Set up and maintain bid folders, proposals, and job documents
Support communication between sales, field teams, and accounting
Help launch new projects, track job updates, and process changes
Coordinate extras, scope changes, or equipment substitutions
Estimating:
Review plans and specs to prepare detailed HVAC estimates
Calculate system sizing, load requirements, and material needs
Work with vendors and internal teams to confirm accurate pricing
Support team with bid revisions and scope breakdowns
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical coursework or HVAC training preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC sales support, estimating, or project coordination
Experience in residential construction or mechanical systems is a plus
Skills:
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (preferred)
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and general computer proficiency
Excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Occasional site visits may be required
