Job Description
Nexmos Design is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our Columbus, OH team. This role is ideal for someone with strong logistical planning skills and a creative approach to event management. You will be responsible for coordinating various corporate and promotional events, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.
Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and execute in-person and promotional events
Collaborate with clients and internal departments to define event goals and logistics
Research venues, vendors, and suppliers; manage bookings and contracts
Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and post-event reports
Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and company standards
Oversee on-site event operations and provide real-time solutions as needed
Monitor event performance and suggest improvements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field
1–3 years of event planning or coordination experience
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools
Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evenings or weekends
