The Graham Health System Pharmacist is a professional who is responsible to dispense prescription medications along with key information, such as side effects and contraindications with other medicines. All medications are dispensed according to professional standards and practices. The Pharmacist is also responsible to continually educate and oversee the accuracy of the Pharmacy Technicians. Provides consultative services/advises the medical and nursing staff on the selection, dosage, interactions and the side effects of medications. Responsible for the daily operations of the pharmacy department in the director’s absence. The Pharmacist reports to the Director of the Pharmacy.
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
Completion of course study and internship
Registered Pharmacist in the State of Illinois
