About the team – 

Juniper is a global leader in routing and networking technologies. Routing protocols plays a key role in

achieving and maintaining that leadership. The routing team acts as the driver for enabling the routing

edge that Juniper has maintained for a long time. The team needs to be agile to meet the constantly

evolving network technologies and needs to continuously innovate to stay ahead of the competition. Improving

scale and performance, provide virtualized environment, comprehensive streaming telemetry and cutting edge

automation using AI/ML technologies are some of the key aspects that need to be dealt with frequently.

Not only would you be part of the most dynamic team in Juniper, but also have the opportunity to contribute

About the position - 

We’re looking for people who are interested in computer networking, but prior networking experience is not

required.  This is a pure software development role. The opportunities in this team include application of machine

learning in protocol applications, virtualization, automation, telemetry and performance characterization. The

interns will closely work with mentors on a daily basis and with the wider team as required. We are keen to

have our summer interns have a productive experience that they can use as a launch point of their professional

careers.

Required Skill Set - 

• Programming skill in C/C++/Java/Python
• Knowledge of algorithms and data-structures
• Currently enrolled in BS/MS in CS or EE

Minimum Salary: $54,000.00

Maximum Salary:$82,800.00

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $54,000.00 and $82,800.00/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper’s pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
