Job Description



Location: Douglassville, PA

Techo Bloc is seeking its next passionate Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance department at our facility based in Douglassville, PA. As a seasoned maintenance professional, you will build programs for preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance. Your contribution maximizes the longevity of the machinery and equipment's excellent performance - a vital piece to our production puzzle!

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

  • Hands-on Management supporting a 24/7 production facility
  • 75% of time spent on the floor with their team
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to proactively address maintenance issues.
  • Manage a team of plant technicians in both preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Lead troubleshooting teams in both electrical and mechanical control systems.
  • Manage the workorder system for parts and labor.
  • Manage the parts department and parts inventory. Oversee purchasing of maintenance parts.
  • Manage outside vendors and service technicians to ensure the work was performed on time, within budget and within scope.
  • Manage capital improvement projects including, budgeting, planning, purchasing and installation (both internal and external)
  • Layout, read and fabricate to construction drawings.
  • Lead troubleshooting through planning, and execution in both mechanical and electrical breakdowns
  • Keep detailed maintenance records on all equipment and tasks performed on the equipment by maintenance team
  • Manage plant maintenance costs and plant process reliability.
  • Maintain all updated electrical drawings and equipment changes.
  • Reduce downtime

Qualifications

  • Five years' experience as an industrial maintenance supervisor or similar role
  • Microsoft office and ERP experience required
  • 10+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance
  • Strong familiarity with electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, and mechanics. 
  • Electrical experience in PLC's and plant automation
  • Team Management; Ability to mentor and train others in both mechanical and electrical aspects
  • Previous experience in heavy industrial and concrete manufacturing equipment (highly preferred)
  • This position requires being on call to support the 24x7 operation when needed
