We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a chic, fast-paced luxury residential interior design firm in Austin, Texas. If you’re a driven, goal-oriented designer with a passion for creating beautiful spaces, we’d love to hear from you! Join our clients dynamic, client-centric design firm as a Mid to Senior Designer. They are looking for a reliable, organized, and solutions-oriented professional to contribute to their design projects and daily operations. This role involves managing projects from conception to completion, in collaboration with the Principal, while ensuring impeccable style and taste.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee entire project lifecycles: conceptual, schematic, and design development.

Act as a primary client contact alongside the Principal.

Manage project budgets and support the design team.

Assist with client, vendor, and subcontractor contracts.

Develop necessary drawings and documentation for permitting and construction.

Maintain all project documentation, including meeting minutes and punch lists.

Create mood boards, sketches, and source materials.

Drive project timelines and schedules.

Prepare and finalize digital and physical presentations for client meetings.

Foster a collaborative, positive work environment.

Anticipate and resolve resource conflicts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of construction and materials.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Detail-oriented and accurate in deliverables.

Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

Expert time-management across multiple tasks and projects.

Curiosity and a passion for lifelong learning.

Proficiency in Mac, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and AutoCad; SketchUp is a plus.

Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
