R egional Property Manager- out of state

We are seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a large portfolio of residential properties located throughout the South region . The ideal candidate will be based in Brooklyn and spend two days per week working from our headquarters, with approximately three days per week traveling to properties within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the operations, leasing, maintenance, and performance of a large multi-state property portfolio.
Travel regularly (approx. 3 days/week) to inspect properties, manage on-site teams, and ensure operational efficiency.
Manage and mentor property managers and staff across the region.
Ensure compliance with company standards, local laws, and safety regulations.
Collaborate with ownership on budgeting, capital planning, and performance reporting.
Address tenant relations, escalated issues, and improve occupancy and retention.
Monitor KPIs and drive improvements across sites.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in property management, with multi-site or regional oversight.
Ability and willingness to travel frequently (flight-based, out-of-state travel).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with budgeting, reporting, and operational planning.
Must be based in Brooklyn and able to be in-office 2 days/week.
