Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Lake Forest, IL (30 miles N of Chicago)
We are looking for a motivated Physical Therapy Assistant for our growing practice in Lake Forest, IL. Must be an excellent team player and work well with other providers in our team-based treatment approach. Our main goal is patient centered care, and we provide our employees with all the tools for them to grow as clinicians and to treat their patients effectively. We are flexible in our need and can accommodate a PTA looking for either part time or full-time work. We will consider experienced Athletic Trainers as well. You will work closely and under the direction of the physical therapist, treating patients with medical problems or other conditions that limit their ability to move or perform functional activities.

Each treatment is designed to address issues relating to the nervous and musculoskeletal systems with the goal of eliminating pain and stabilizing patient health.
Duties:
-Assist with Treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal issues
-Guide therapeutic exercises- Work with patients on active exercise protocols as well as using passive hands on techniques (ART /GRASTON) passive stretch, active strengthening to stabilize either spine or extremity
-Provide thorough and accurate documentation in a timely manner.
-Proactively work independently and collaboratively, and demonstrate the Company's values of excellence, poise, leadership and service.
-Provide exemplary patient care and be able to work in a professional manner with a team.
-Regular patient re-evals to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
-Participate in patient plan of care meetings and communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plan
Requirements:
-Graduation from an accredited Physical therapy Assistant Program or Athletic Training program
-PTA license in IL or relevant certification
Schedule:
-Full time or Part time (at least 2 days per week)
Compensation (range):
-$25-$40 an hour
