Job Description
The selected candidate will perform complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software ranging from operating system architecture integration and software design to selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment. Designs, develops/codes, tests, and documents critical and complex application programs for computer systems. Works with appropriate stakeholders to define system scope and objectives and establish baselines. Establishes project standards and processes. Breaks down software
requirements and creates highly complex systems.
Required Skills
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
- Experience: 5 years experience as a Pega RPA SW Developer, basic coding and compilation, software architecture/design, user requirements definition and software specification development.
- .NET/C# is required.
- Experience in Pega RPA development, managing pega servers and upgrading them.
- Experience in understanding the Pega workflow and proficient in creating new BOTs with in short time.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Pega Certified
- Ability to communicate technical requirements to all levels of expertise.
- Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. JavaScript, C, Python, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. cloud, SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Fundamental knowledge of software engineers- best practices, agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of test-first practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD) for unit tests and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for automated acceptance tests,
- Strong experience with Deployment/Continuous Integration/ Continuous Testing/ Continuous Delivery processes and tools and have expertise in CI/CD tools and framework
- Knowledge of Code quality and promotion practices

- Hybrid Opportunity: No standard set amount of time, just expect them to be available 1-2 per month for meetings and collaboration efforts. When needed, they have to make themselves available to come to Reston VA office.

- Pega RPA Developer need. Experienced/Senior level.
- Pega RPA development = 5 yrs exp
- Must be a strong candidate on the RPA side and the pega platform. RPA focused with knowledge of Pega is okay.
- Certification would really help. Any certification would suffice.
- Exp with .NET / C# (Pega runs on .NET)
- This hire will be the main POC for all Pega related activities/requests. That-s why senior level is a must. There is a team in place already.
- Automation background is required. Pega RPA for automation.
- Pega Business Process MGT piece: No specific tool, but familiar with Robot Manager would be required. Basic RPA would be fine.
- Day to day: They have 10-12 pega bots already running. Make sure those bots are running properly and any enhancements needed must take place. Identify new opportunities for automation tasks. Create new Pega RPA bots.
- Bots are in Virtual Machines. Down the road it will be cloud. Any cloud would be a plus.
