About iteach
iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program designed to address the national teacher shortage. We provide a flexible and affordable pathway for paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others who want to become licensed educators. Our program combines online learning with a full year of in-person mentorship during a teaching residency. Notably, iteach is the only non-university educator preparation program accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
About Passage Preparation
Passage Preparation offers comprehensive courses for teacher candidates preparing for licensure exams. Developed by a network of experienced educators, our courses are designed to enhance understanding and build confidence, with opportunities to practice and assess learning. We prioritize affordability and high-quality content, helping teachers succeed in their licensure exams and become effective educators.
Location
This position can be performed remotely. However, candidates based near our office in Denton, TX, may find it easier to collaborate in person when needed, as some travel may be required.
Travel
For remote candidates, this role may involve up to 15% travel to our Denton, TX office for team meetings and in-person collaboration. Additionally, occasional travel to our other offices in Charlottesville, VA, and Eagan, MN, may be needed for team offsites and company events.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Associate to join our collaborative team. This role is essential in supporting customer engagement and growth for both the iteach and Passage Preparation divisions. You will contribute to efforts aimed at addressing the teacher shortage nationwide, working closely with cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
As part of a small, dynamic marketing team, you will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Social Media and Content Marketing Associate.
What You'll Do
Project Management & Execution: Manage and execute daily tasks to ensure marketing campaigns and initiatives are completed on time and align with our strategic goals. Oversee the creation of project management processes, track progress, and ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Provide regular updates on team capacity and project status.
Website & Digital Performance: Perform basic updates to our website, including content management and SEO optimization. Collaborate with the web development team to enhance the user experience and ensure the site supports lead generation. Monitor performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Collaboration & Vendor Management: Work with external vendors and internal teams to complete tasks and create marketing materials. Help manage the development, distribution, and maintenance of sales and B2B marketing content.
Marketing Materials & Events: Manage logistics and purchasing of event materials, ensuring everything is within budget. Assist with event coordination and ensure successful execution of conferences and other initiatives.
Other Duties: Support the marketing team with additional tasks and responsibilities to help meet evolving organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a marketing or related role.
Proven ability to organize and manage marketing projects.
Experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, and Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
Strong knowledge of marketing tools, techniques, and best practices.
Experience in education or with education-related products is a plus.

Compensation Range
The salary for this position ranges from $47,000 - $55,000 annually.
