Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Lab Technician for an assignment in Erlanger, KY supporting product development and batching operations in a fast-paced lab environment. This individual will work closely with scientists to prepare customer prototypes, perform analytical tests, and contribute to flavor/color screening and adjustments.
About the role:
Location: Erlanger, KY
Pay rate: $22/hr
Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
• Batch formulas and prototypes with minor modifications using Wildware.
• Perform and interpret analytical testing (e.g., pH, Brix, TA).
• Conduct basic lab functions including informal sensory triangle tastings and stability tests.
• Support documentation and data entry for demo sheets and flavor development.
• Screen flavor options and assist with formula adjustments.
• Use systems including AS400, LEAD, Microsoft Word/Excel, and email platforms.
• Follow ISO procedures and maintain lab safety and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or higher with 1–3 years of lab or related experience.
• 2+ years’ experience as lab technician.
• Strong basic math skills (fractions, ratios, percentages).
• Familiarity with basic scientific and chemistry concepts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), email, and lab equipment.
• Comfortable using and calibrating lab instruments like spectrophotometers and pH meters.
