INFORMATION SYSTEM SECURITY OFFICER / CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER PEO C3T - PM Tactical Network Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland Salary: 80K-165K Annual; Commensurate with experience/education Clearance: DoD Secret minimum Job Description:The candidate must be familiar with the DoD standards - guiding the development of Cybersecurity policy, requirements, engineering and certification and accreditation. The candidate must be able to process systems in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and provide entry into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) for record keeping. The candidate must be able to translate security policies and requirements into a Cybersecurity configuration implementation and application requirements for the purpose of documenting and accrediting systems. The candidate must be capable of performing network and host vulnerability scans and document results in relation to residual risk identification. The candidate must be familiar with network vulnerability scanners (e.g., ACAS, Nessus). The candidate must be familiar with patch management software (e.g. WSUS, Update Expert, SMS, McAfee ESM etc.). The candidate must have experience with Firewalls/IPS, IDS, Application level firewalls, and web content filtering. The candidate must have experience with writing scripts and software (Batch, BASH, NSIS, PYTHON, etc.) to patch and effectively secure various network devices, operating systems, and appliances. The candidate must complete incident handling processes and analyze data from scans. The candidate will implement and enforce security policies across the organization. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:Candidatemust be a US Citizenin order to obtain and maintain an interim and final security clearance. It is critical for candidates to have in depth knowledge of the listed skill sets.
