The position is in a quarry environment and applicants must possess the ability to work in all types of weather conditions. Haul Truck Drivers primary responsibilities are moving materials safely to designated areas of the quarry communicating at load and unload areas maintaining safe speeds and observing traffic controls.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Operate haul trucks to move shot rock from the pit to the crusher and product to stockpiles
• Perform daily preand post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
• Effective communication skills applicable to position.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency skill and proficiency.
• Check vehicles for proper safety equipment
• Report any vehicle/equipment defects to supervisor
• Maintain safety practices which parallel or exceed MSHA regulations
• Maintain Brox Industries safety goal of ZERO ACCIDENTS

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Maintain a valid drivers license
• Be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
• Have previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks.

Key Job Responsibilities: Work in an environment in compliance with all Brox safety policies and procedures Properly follow all company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by OSHA and/or MSHA Communicate safety and equipment information to Plant Manager Participate in toolbox talks with co-workers and supervisors Display a professional and courteous attitude to customers, drivers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public Acceptance of other responsibilities and duties as necessary Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent and valid driver s license. Experience preferred but willing to train. Work Environment: Outdoor-in and out of vehicle. High elevations & confined spaces. Days, nights and/or weekends.
