Salary Range * Pay is based upon qualifications & experience of the candidate Location This is a Seasonal Full-time position located at The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, MA. The Red Lion Inn is a property managed by Main Street Hospitality. Job Purpose: Responsible for the maintenance of all exterior flowers (beds, window boxes, planters, etc.), perennials, annuals, shrubs and specimen trees on the premises. Areas includes the Inn proper, and all guest houses. Assists & supports the Maintenance Department with seasonal decorations and anything else that they might need in relation to keeping the grounds well-maintained and presentable. Qualifications

• Three years verifiable experience.
• Horticulture certificate
• Possesses knowledge of plant species (including annuals, perennials, deciduous, turf, and appropriate environments for particular species) and their characteristics
• On the job the employee must bend, squat, climb, kneel, and reach above shoulder level. The employee will be exposed to high temperatures and/or high humidity during the summer seasons. Maintaining stamina is a must due to heavy lifting and long busy days on their feet.

• Responsible for the maintenance of all exterior flowers (beds, window boxes, planters, etc.) on the premises, including the guest houses and assists & supports the Maintenance Department with seasonal decorations and anything else that they might need in relation to keeping the grounds well-maintained and presentable.
• Participates in interior and exterior decorations throughout changing seasons & holidays and remains consistent with rich traditions & standards of the Fitzpatrick family, The Red Lion Inn, & their guests.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance as required by scheduling. This will vary according to the needs of the inn and may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Perform any duties as requested by the Management or supervisors.
