Join Our Family as a Full-Time Nanny in Chicago!

Are you a caring, experienced, and reliable nanny looking for a long-term position with a wonderful family? We are a warm, fun-loving family in Lincoln Park, Chicago, searching for a full-time nanny to provide attentive and loving care for our three amazing children—a 4-year-old, a 2-year-old, and an infant.

Our ideal candidate is nurturing, highly organized, proactive, and experienced in managing multiple children. If you love engaging in creative activities, encouraging learning, and supporting a structured yet fun environment, we’d love to meet you!

Nanny Job Responsibilities

✅  Childcare Duties

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and engaging care for three children (ages 4, 2, and infant).

  • Plan and lead fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities to foster development.

  • Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups (currently involves occasional before school/daily after school transportation for our 4-year-old).

  • Supervise outings, playdates, and social activities.

  • Handle diapering, dressing, and general hygiene routines for children.

  • Assist with naptime and bedtime routines, including bath time, preparing rooms, and setting out clothing for the next day.

✅  Meal Prep & Household Support

  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

  • Pack a healthy school lunch for the oldest child.

  • Keep children’s play areas, bedrooms, and common spaces organized and tidy.

  • Perform light housekeeping (children’s laundry, loading/unloading the dishwasher, maintaining a tidy kitchen and play areas).

  • Keep track of and restock essential supplies (diapers, wipes, snacks, etc.).

  • Run occasional errands as needed (nice but not required).

✅  Family Environment & Additional Considerations

  • One parent works from home a few days per week in a separate, designated space.

  • We have a friendly, hypoallergenic dog (no primary pet care required, but letting the dog outside occasionally would be helpful).

  • Travel with the family is available but not required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

✔ At least 3 years of professional childcare experience in a home with multiple children, nanny share, or twins (OR relevant experience juggling three or more children, such as in a classroom setting).
✔ CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
✔ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (family will provide a vehicle for work-related transportation).
✔ Excellent multitasking and time management skills.
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with parents.
✔ Flexibility and dependability to adapt to the family’s needs.
✔ Up-to-date COVID-19, Tdap, and flu vaccinations (preferred but not required).

Why Join Our Family

💙 A long-term, stable nanny position in a loving household
🏡 A warm, supportive, and respectful work environment
🚗 School and most activities are within walking distance
🐶 We have a friendly, small dog (no primary pet care required, but letting the dog outside occasionally would be helpful).

✨ Guaranteed hours with additional opportunities
