Job Description

Damien High School seeks a French teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This part-time teaching position includes three sections: French 1, French 2, and French 3.

Inspired by St. Damien of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, Damien High School, an all-boys Catholic school, develops men of Service, Scholarship, and Faith, prepared to engage in a dynamic global society.

• Exhibit a passion for content knowledge and implement various pedagogical approaches while teaching students.

• Show a willingness to engage students to foster a student-centered learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an integrated curriculum and meaningful student learning experiences.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate and/or graduate degree in French or a related field
• Teaching credential preferred
• Teaching experience in a high school setting preferred.

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
