Family Ministries Director

Full-Time | Grovetown, GA | Non-Denominational Church | 800–1,200 Weekly Attendance

About the Role:

New Hope Worship Center in Grovetown, GA, is hiring a Family Ministries Director—a strategic, Spirit-led leader passionate about guiding the next generation and empowering parents to build faith-filled homes. This full-time role oversees ministry environments for birth through 5th grade and supports whole-family discipleship across every life stage.

We’re looking for a visionary leader who thrives in both kid-focused and parent-focused ministry, loves building strong teams, and believes ministry doesn’t stop at the classroom door. If you want to help families flourish in a God-first life, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the vision for a unified Family Ministries strategy that equips kids and families to grow in faith together
• Oversee all NHKids programming (birth–5th grade), ensuring biblically sound, developmentally appropriate, and spiritually impactful environments
• Develop staff and volunteer teams that create safe, Spirit-filled spaces for children to encounter God
• Equip and resource parents as the primary spiritual leaders in their homes
• Create intentional pathways for family milestones (salvation, baptism, transitions, etc.)
• Provide pastoral support, prayer, and spiritual guidance to families
• Recruit, train, and build a thriving volunteer Dream Team
• Collaborate with student ministry, pastoral care, and outreach teams to ensure cohesive family support
• Manage ministry budgets, child safety policies, and administrative systems
• Track ministry effectiveness through attendance, engagement, and spiritual growth metrics

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a deep, personal relationship with Jesus and models a God-first life
• 3–5 years of experience in children’s or family ministry leadership (multi-generational ministry experience a plus)
• Strong communicator who connects well with both kids and adults
• Visionary thinker with the ability to lead strategic execution
• Team builder passionate about empowering others
• Committed to both spiritual formation and emotional health
• Must pass a background check and complete a child safety certification
