Summary:

Since 1997, AlphaStaff has delivered HR outsourcing solutions to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses across the country, as well as some large organizations. We are searching for an Ecommerce Specialist for one of our premier clients located in San Diego, CA. This fast-growing wellness brand is focused on enhancing the digital customer journey and driving revenue through data-informed website improvements.

The position is fully in-office and plays a cross-functional role between marketing, design, and data teams. Key responsibilities include identifying friction points in the user journey, launching A/B tests, analyzing site behavior, and implementing conversion rate optimization strategies. Success in this environment requires a mix of creativity and analytical thinking, along with a strong grasp of ecommerce tools and performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to improve website conversion rates and user experience across the ecommerce funnel.
• Analyze site traffic, engagement, and behavioral data to identify friction points and optimization opportunities.
• Design and manage A/B and multivariate tests to validate ideas and measure impact.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and engineering teams to implement UX and CRO improvements.
• Monitor KPIs like bounce rate, time on site, and checkout conversion to guide iterative site enhancements.
• Create reports on testing results and performance metrics, translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Stay current with CRO trends, ecommerce best practices, and tools that support testing and optimization.

Qualifications:

• At least 2–5 years of experience in ecommerce, CRO, growth marketing, or a related role in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), A/B testing tools, and web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, Intelligems).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into creative problem-solving and site improvements.
• Collaborative working style and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills and ability to execute testing roadmaps on tight timelines.
• Passion for health and wellness, and a strong customer experience orientation.
• DTC experience, particularly in the wellness or consumer goods space, is a plus.
• Must be able to work full-time onsite in San Diego.

Compensation and Perks:

• $90,000 – $130,000 salary, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
