Within the Authorization & Certification Program, the Check Casher Permit Program is a one-person team dedicated to reviewing and processing initial and renewal check casher permit applications. As the Crime Analyst, you will have the opportunity to analyze criminal history information, determine an applicant’s eligibility, and recommend the issuance or denial of a check casher permit. Within a short time, you will be able to field applicant questions and other inquiries from check cashers, the public, and law enforcement agencies too!
Some accounting experience or familiarity is preferred, as the position calculates all applicable fees and prepares documentation for submission to our accounting office. We are looking for a very organized individual to ensure timeliness in processing all aspects of applications and renewals.
