Kitchen Director - Chick-fil-A Lenox Square

Role Overview:

The Kitchen Director is responsible for leading all back-of-house operations, ensuring food safety, quality, speed, and cleanliness. This individual will develop and coach kitchen leaders and team members while maintaining a high-performance, guest-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the kitchen team with excellence, modeling operational and leadership standards.
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, inventory management, cleanliness, food quality, food safety, and equipment maintenance.
• Train, coach, and mentor team members and leaders to achieve consistent food safety, quality, and speed of service.
• Ensure compliance with Chick-fil-A brand standards and health department regulations.
• Collaborate with other Directors and the Operator to drive business results and achieve strategic goals.
• Create and maintain a positive, high-energy work environment focused on care and accountability.
• Manage labor and food costs to meet or exceed targets.
• Lead by example, working in the kitchen shoulder-to-shoulder with the team when necessary.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service management.
• Proven track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm, servant-hearted demeanor.
• Passion for personal growth and helping others succeed.
• Availability to work a full-time schedule including early mornings, nights, and Saturdays (closed Sundays).
