We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will assist in the production of baked goods and ensure the smooth operation of the bakery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about baking and want to gain experience in a professional bakery setting.
```Responsibilities:```
- Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods, mostly brownies
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately
- Mix, bake, and top brownies according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, and mixers
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish baked goods with icing, glazes, or other toppings
- Clean and maintain baking equipment and work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Fill delivery service orders Tuesday - Saturday from 5-9pm
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
