Description We are offering a position for an Associate Attorney to join our team in the services industry, located in Santa Rosa, California. This role involves working on civil litigation cases, with a focus on commercial litigation and potentially employment law. The Associate Attorney will be tasked with case analysis, preparation of pleadings, arguing law and motion matters, and managing written discovery. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough case reviews and legal analyses - Prepare comprehensive pleadings within specified timeframes - Argue law and motion matters effectively in court - Manage written discovery procedures efficiently - Use Case Management Software to maintain and manage cases - Utilize 3M and Adobe Acrobat for documentation purposes - Handle Claim Administration and Complaint Handling processes - Be proficient in using Conveyancer and Document Management systems - Draft and present briefings on Civil Litigation cases - Handle Employment Litigation cases when required - Apply knowledge of Consumer Electronics in relevant cases. Requirements - Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an Associate Attorney or in a similar role within the detail-oriented services industry. - Proficiency in using 3M and Adobe Acrobat is required. - Must have experience with Case Management Software and Conveyancer. - Skills in Document Management are essential. - The ability to conduct briefing sessions effectively is necessary. - Experience in Civil Litigation is a must. - Knowledge in Claim Administration is required. - Ability to handle complaints professionally and efficiently is necessary. - Experience in the Consumer Electronics sector is a plus. - Proficiency in Employment Litigation is required.
