Summary

Come join our fun and professional team for 6 weeks of summer camp starting on June 2.

Duties

• Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the lead teacher.
• Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, set up learning centers, and prepare needed materials and supplies, including copying and laminating.
• Supervise the classroom when the lead teacher is out of the room or absent.
• Manage cleanliness, help with diaper changes & toilet training and other general classroom maintenance tasks.
• Help ensure smooth daily transition from home to classroom.
• Maintain confidentiality of children, parents and fellow staff members and follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain professional attitudes and loyalty to the program at all times.
• Treat all of the children with dignity and respect.
• Attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs and conferences.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age with High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1-2 years of professional childcare experience.
• High energy and the ability to work well with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the needs of others, and be able to relate well to children.
• Must clear full background check.

Nice To Haves

CDA or FCCPC
More than 2 years experience in early childhood education.
45 DCF hours completed.
First Aid and CPR completed.

Benefits

No nights/weekends
Hours are 9am-2pm
